For over 25 years we have served as a buying office in Hong Kong and China, representing many world - renowned brands across a broad range of industries.
We began by serving Mr. Coffee Inc and its parent company at the time, Health-o-Meter. Over the years we have been able to significantly grow this aspect of our services by means of many positive customer referrals. Very simply our role is to take our clients’ product requirements and specifications and find the best sources where we can secure the best products, at the best price with the best quality – all while ensuring on time delivery.
We will reject any factory that offers A&S Group directly a commission or rebate, because we work with only those companies who exemplify the highest integrity along with a track record of proven performance of 25 years.

Product Development Managemnet
Since our inception in 1994 and up to the present day, the A&S Group has successfully assisted our many clients in the key role of new Product Development Management.
The number one reason new product launches are delayed is due to problems within the product development process. This process is difficult enough when everything is done “in-house”. But when product development also involves an off-shore supplier who typically speaks a different language and lives in a vastly different time-zone – the process becomes even more challenging.
Our advantages in proximity, language, time zone and most importantly -experience, allows us to serve as a timely conduit of feedback where, if necessary, we can flag an issue early, thus helping to minimize or eliminate any possible delays.
Factory Compliance and Audit Training
Given the high demand for factory output these days more and more of our clients are asking A&S Group to audit those factories who are making our clients’ products in order to ensure that they are meeting all government requirements as well as in some cases, the client’s Code-of-Conduct.
This is an important service especially given the cultural and language differences between the West and the East. No company wants to be accused of using child-labor or overworking their factories. So, we provide an audit-service that assists our clients in conducting factory audits and making certain everything is in compliance.
Notably, A&S Group takes this process one step further. We help educate our suppliers as to what is expected of them in order to pass an audit and to perform self-audits as well. Our qualified compliance officers, acting on our clients’ behalf, oversee and assist factories with compliance training and process improvement in order to meet the highest standards. Quality Control: In-Process & Pre-Shipment Inspection
A&S Group has been performing quality control and quality assurance inspections for our clients since the Company’s inception. We start with our clients’ specifications and quality requirements, (AQL – Acceptable Quality Level) and use that information to develop our inspection criteria. Our inspection services are renowned for the following:

All of our inspectors have been highly trained in Quality Control procedures and metrics. In addition, they are well-versed about all the products they are inspecting. Finally, all of our inspectors are long-term team members with A&S who have vast experience working with Chinese factories.

Customized Service
A&S Group tailors our QC/QA services to meet each client’s specific requirements. Most importantly, we assign a permanent team to each client in order to better understand their products and develop a unique checklist for those products.
Direct-Import Logistics Management & Third-Party Logistics
A&S Group provides complete logistical and shipping services for our clients who do not have offices in the Far East. We interact with both the client, and when directed by the client, with the retailer’s logistics team in order to arrange and coordinate shipments.
In the case of direct imports, our service helps to avoid confusion caused by direct contact between the retail customer and the factory. We handle everything from negotiating carrier rates, to booking the carrier - whether ocean or air; and we handle all required documentation for export and Customs clearance.

Freight Consolidation and Warehousing
A&S Group provides a freight consolidation service in order to minimize LCL charges. Our clients’ products can be safely stored in our warehouse and then sent to a freight forwarder for final consolidation. All of this is done to increase efficiency while reducing costs.
